In our clinic, we find a good number of patients that are sensitive to corn. Our recommendation is to eliminate it from the diet for at least 3 months. But it does present a problem.

A Supermarket contains on average about 45,000 items, 1/4 of them contain corn.

First of all, the meat we eat whether it is from a Pig, Cow, Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, or Fish are being given Corn Feed as their main diet, so you get corn indirectly when you eat meat. Unless you are buying pasture raised chickens, or grass-fed beef and the like. Even Salmon which is a carnivore by nature has been re-engineered to tolerate corn.

The eggs from the Chicken, the Cheese, and Milk from our Cows. You find corn in the Vegetable wax that is put on our veggies and fruits to make them shiny.

It’s also in the beer which is fermented from Glucose that is from Corn.

But most of all there are a lot of ingredients that come from corn in our Processed Foods. Here is a list of ingredients to look for on Labels in Supermarkets that is made from corn.
