Three ounces of shrimp provides 18 grams of thermogenic protein plus 48% of the daily value of the antioxidant micronutrient selenium (which many of us are deficient). Dip in homemade cocktail sauce spiked with cayenne or smoke paprika for a light snack that will fill you up. 
Here is a recipe for cocktail sauce 
½ cup ketchup 
• (We recommend the Organic Primal Kitchen brand at or Whole Foods) 
1 ½ tbsp fresh lemon juice 
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 
1-2 tbsp prepared horseradish 
1 clove garlic minced 
3-4 dashes hot sauce (optional) 
1. Mix the ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic in a small bowl 
2. Add 1 tbsp of horseradish. Taste and add more if desired. 
3. Then stir in a few dashes of hot sauce if you like your cocktail sauce with extra kick.
